Extra Extra...Read ALL about Stuttering!

Stuttering is complex, interesting, misunderstood and newsworthy, which is why we see reports on the subject all the time. Television, newspapers, magazines, internet sites, and others report on stuttering.  The views and attitudes expressed about stuttering are not always accurate in reflecting the views of the National Stuttering Association. Reporters are often looking for an intersting angle or an "amazing breakthrough possible cure" for stuttering so they focus on specific findings. In 2008, Sarah Watson Bell, of Covert-S and the Covert Workshop fame, was interviewed about her stuttering. Sarah is a member of the Dallas NSA Chapter and the co-leader of the NSA-Kids and TWiST groups in Longview, Texas, and recently was on the panel in the Covert Workshop in the Parsippany/NYC conference. She was on the original Covert Workshop panel in Boston in 2001.
